A boat ride with a view: Nordland

This place is incredibly breathtaking. I am so unbelievably lucky to have this opportunity to see a world unlike anything I have ever seen - I have to pinch myself so often.

For someone who has never been in snow before, or even seen such dramatic landscapes, this was an experience of a life time. In our first week here, we visited an open sea pen of one of the salmon farms in Norway. This boat ride was a total treat - never does a photograph or video do nature true justice, but this short clip was a smidge of what mesmerized me on our ride out.

The salmon farming industry in Norway is something to behold. The precise farming operations and technology utilized throughout the supply chain is so impressive. It is no wonder that Norway is one of the leading nations in aquaculture production (by volume and value). What struck me the most is how constantly iterative the industry is in pushing technological boundaries for improving efficiencies and sustainability.

It has been an exciting journey thus far, with so much to learn and understand. I look forward to seeing how we can be a part of the sustainable drive the industry here is shifting towards.
